Perception is based on our prior experiences and the surroundings we have. If we get some evidences supporting, it gets strengthen. Its not based on mere one day or say a shorter span of time.
rightly said! adding to it i think different people build perception in a different way. people also translate their past experience diversely. for example, a pessimistic person will translate his/her past tragic experience different from that of any optimistic person. having said this i don't mean that the complexity in understanding human perception are unconquerable but to take in deep thought and acknowledge their is and diversity in humane society.
